The developer (Joshua Williams) was actively communicating throughout this period, with meaningful updates arriving roughly every few months. The last official developer communication was on July 6, 2020, when a bug fix update also teased upcoming new content — specifically a redesigned version of the "Choccy" cookie character with new weapons, with the developer saying they hoped to have it ready by the end of 2020. That content was never released. No updates, patch notes, announcements, or developer posts of any kind have appeared since July 6, 2020. The game remains in Early Access with no 1.0 release ever announced or delivered, and no developer statement about the conclusion of development.
