Coronation

Coronation is a free-to-play Early Access online medieval sandbox from Twin Sword Studio that has been available since October 2021. The game received a steady stream of feature patches and bug fixes through late 2022, culminating in a major content update in December 2023 when the studio reopened its server. In December 2022, the developers announced they were taking the game offline to perform a comprehensive overhaul — upgrading graphics, UI, multiplayer systems, and character models — with the goal of transforming it from a hobby project into a commercial-quality product and re-releasing it on Steam sometime in 2024. The server was brought back online in December 2023 running an older patch version (0.26.8), with development on the overhauled version continuing in parallel. However, the last public communication from the developer is from December 16, 2023. The promised 2024 re-release of the overhauled game has not been announced or delivered, and no progress updates, patch notes, or any developer posts have appeared since that date. This is a gap of over two and a half years (from December 16, 2023 to today, June 23, 2026) with no word from the studio. Given the ambitious overhaul that was underway and the explicit 2024 target that has long since passed without comment, the game's development status is genuinely uncertain. The store page still solicits funding via Ko-Fi and Patreon, and the game remains purchasable, but it is unclear whether active development is continuing.
