Crash Time - Undercover launched on July 25, 2024 and has received consistent post-launch updates from the developer. Feature patches have addressed multiplayer improvements, expanded gamepad/splitscreen support, modding and Workshop enhancements, and a significant graphics engine upgrade. That graphics work — a new Direct3D 11 renderer — was introduced on a public beta branch on March 22, 2026, and just shipped to all players as the 5.1.0 update on June 14, 2026 (two days before today). This latest update also added full crossplay between Steam and GOG Galaxy and broad multiplayer stability fixes. The developer explicitly titled this post "We're back!", signaling a return to active development after a quieter period. No specific future content has been formally announced, and there are no unreleased DLC listings, but the developer remains clearly engaged and has not indicated that work on the game is concluding.
