Evaluation
Crazy Fishing launched out of Early Access on May 25, 2017, bringing with it a substantial update that added new areas, fish, leaderboards, Oculus support, a tutorial, and a boat. This was the game's 1.0 release milestone after a period of active Early Access development.
Following the 1.0 launch, the developer posted one additional update on November 7, 2017 — a bug fix patch that addressed several issues. That same post mentioned the team had taken "extended time off after a draining development cycle" and noted they were "slowly building towards" a content update. However, that vague statement from November 7, 2017 is the last communication the developer has made, and no content update ever materialized or was formally announced.
There are no DLC listings, no unreleased content on the store, no roadmap for post-1.0 content, and no further developer posts after November 7, 2017. The game has no post-launch major content releases — the 1.0 launch itself is the only "major_content" event after Early Access ended. With no subsequent updates of any kind across nearly nine years of silence, the game is best understood as having launched as a complete product. The November 2017 hint at future content was never followed through, and the developer has communicated nothing since.
