Evaluation

Crow Country launched on May 9, 2024 and received a post-launch content roadmap on May 13, 2024 outlining planned additions. The developers delivered on all of it: a hard mode ("Murder of Crows") shipped on May 24, 2024; the original soundtrack released as DLC on June 13, 2024; and additional languages plus performance optimizations arrived on October 16, 2024 — the same day the game launched on Nintendo Switch and PS4. All items from the original roadmap have been fulfilled. The developers' most recent communication about Crow Country itself was a one-year anniversary post on May 9, 2025, which added improved keyboard controls but made no mention of any further content plans. Their attention has since shifted to their next title: on February 25, 2026, SFB Games announced "The Mermaid Mask," a new game from the same team, with a Steam Next Fest demo. The post explicitly describes it as a separate game and frames supporting it as a way to fund "their next game" — indicating SFB Games has moved on from Crow Country as a content project. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no outstanding roadmap commitments, and no developer statements suggesting additional content for Crow Country is planned. The game launched as a complete, self-contained experience and all promised post-launch additions have shipped.

About this game

A survival horror game, where you’ll test yourself against puzzles and riddles as you investigate the eerie tranquility of the abandoned theme park. Don’t be deceived by the whimsical surroundings, something is awfully wrong in Crow Country.

As you unlock new areas, backtrack and discover more, you gradually piece together why Edward really shut down his park and where he mysteriously disappeared to. You’ve heard some pretty disturbing rumors, but they couldn’t possibly be true…..right?

For visitors to the park who are more interested in spotting crows and taking in the sights, Exploration Mode allows you to journey on without the fear of being attacked by the mysterious monsters roaming Crow Country. If you knew what those monsters really are…..

Just how far would someone go to follow their ambition? Are some sins too wicked for redemption?

A tale of reckless hubris and human greed, and now at the center of it all... you.

Who are you really, Mara Forest?
