Deathsmiles

Deathsmiles is a classic bullet-hell shoot-'em-up by CAVE that launched on Steam on March 10, 2016. At launch, the game shipped as a complete product with all its gameplay modes included. The developer released two post-launch bug-fix patches in March and November 2016 to address technical issues such as sound bugs and a startup crash. All three DLC items — two soundtrack releases (the OST on March 10, 2016 and the AST and a Manabu Namiki music selection on April 28, 2016) — are fully released with no unreleased DLC on the store. There has been no post-launch gameplay content added beyond these soundtracks. The developer's news posts after 2016 are cross-promotions for other titles in their catalog (such as Crimzon Clover World EXplosion and Castle of Shikigami 2) and bear no relevance to new Deathsmiles content. The last developer communication specific to Deathsmiles was a bug-fix patch on November 25, 2016. No future content, updates, or expansions have ever been announced. The game launched as a complete package and remains so.
