Dépanneur Nocturne launched on May 26, 2020 as a self-described single-sitting, 1–2 hour exploration game — a finished, small-scale product from KO_OP's experimental "KO_OP mini" initiative. After launch, the developer shipped two substantive content updates: the Closing Time Update on July 30, 2020 (which added unique ending vignettes for each gift choice, voice sounds, new items, and other polish) and the Halloweve Update on October 20, 2020 (seasonal Halloween content, a new shop item, and art improvements). A further feature patch on August 25, 2021 — the "Simply Vibing Update" — added an Ambient Mode and one additional purchasable item. The most recent developer communication is a Unity security patch applied on October 3, 2025, which is routine maintenance with no content implications. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap of any kind.
