Descent: Road to Legend

Descent: Road to Legend is a companion app for the Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd edition board game, released on June 1, 2016. After launch, the app received a strong run of major content updates: free campaigns and expansion support were added throughout 2016 and 2017, two paid DLC packs shipped (The Delve in October 2016 and Trials of Frostgate in September 2017), and two additional in-app content expansions arrived through 2018 and 2019. The last major content release was v1.5.2 on June 19, 2019, which added the Lost Legends expansion pack to the Collection Manager. No major content has shipped since then, and no further content has been announced. Both DLC entries on the store are released, and there are no unreleased DLC items listed. Since June 2019, the developer has continued to publish occasional maintenance and compatibility patches — most recently a bug fix on May 20, 2026 — but these updates explicitly describe themselves as "long-term support" rather than new content additions. The April 2025 feature patch added a Graphics Settings menu, which is a quality-of-life improvement, not new game content. The developer has not announced any plans for additional campaigns, expansions, or DLC. The pattern of updates since mid-2019 is consistent with a finished product being maintained for compatibility and stability, not a game actively receiving new content.
