Evaluation

Dicealot launched on October 9, 2025 as a roguelike dice-builder set in a Camelot-themed world. Since launch, the developer has maintained an active and consistent update schedule, shipping three major free content updates. The first major post-launch content update arrived on December 11, 2025, adding 26 new vassals along with bug fixes and balance changes. The second — the "Dread Update" — launched on March 12, 2026, overhauling the game's difficulty system, adding a new Magik dice mechanic, new cosmetics, six new vassals, six new quest dice, and an entirely new class. Importantly, a developer devlog published on February 28, 2026 (ahead of the Dread Update) explicitly described features still planned for future updates: a revamp of the Might system, new Crit mechanics for the player, and a "Dice Wizard" shop mechanic that would let players customise their dice with extra effects. These were presented as things the team was still working on, not content included in the Dread Update. A January 2026 developer post also referenced heading toward a "glorious 2.0," signalling ongoing long-term development intent. None of these announced features have been marked as shipped in any subsequent news post. As of today (September 24, 2026), the last major update was on March 12, 2026 — approximately six months ago. The game's established cadence between major releases has been roughly two to three months (October 2025 launch → December 2025 → March 2026), so the current gap is longer than the historical pattern, but the developer has explicitly committed to named upcoming content that has not yet arrived.

About this game

Every roll is a risk. Every risk is a thrill.

Dicealot is a high-stakes roguelike dice-builder where every roll is a risk, every risk is a thrill, and every thrill teeters between triumph and disaster. Roll in search of devastating strikes, gamble in the hunt for nail-biting payoffs, and push your luck to its very limits as you battle to conquer your foes.

Set in the charmingly chaotic realm of Camelot, chance collides with strategy, mastery dances with madness, and one single roll can rewrite your fate. The twist? Keep rolling to stack bigger combos and score more points, but push too far, and you’ll lose everything you’ve gained that turn.

Every roll matters. Every choice could be your last. Do you dare to keep rolling when the Kingdom itself hangs in the balance?

Your Dice. Your Strategy. Your Skill.

You’ll begin each run with a simple set of dice, but between battles you’ll stop at shops to expand and refine your collection. Some dice tilt the odds in your favour, others amplify your scores, and a few can backfire entirely, unless you’ve saved enough re-rolls to turn the tide. It’s up to you to experiment and discover the perfect combinations to save King Arthur and smite his foes!

Wield one of 10 distinct weapons that fundamentally transform the way you play. Maybe you favour steady, smaller, but consistent hits, or perhaps you thrive on the thrill of chasing the biggest rolls? Every choice unlocks a unique playstyle and demands a new strategy, putting your fate in your own hands as you forge your path to victory.

Master the Madness to Save the King.

A strange and sinister fate has befallen King Arthur, cursed by a spell that threatens all of Camelot. Now Queen Guinevere must rally the loyal Knights of the Round Table and lead them through a medieval kingdom that’s both charmingly unhinged and dangerously unpredictable.

Master the mayhem on your own terms in this roguelike, where Farkle-inspired combat meets deck-building depth. Every decision you make will shape your fate, and victory belongs to those bold enough to embrace the chaos and risk it all for the perfect combination.

Key Features:

  • High-risk, high-reward, high-stakes gameplay, where every decision matters

  • 100+ unique dice to encounter for progressive dice-building
