DISCOPUP launched on July 25, 2025 as a self-contained adventure game about a seal trying to sneak into a dogs-only nightclub. The game shipped complete at launch — its store description and short description present it as a finished narrative experience with no mention of future content, seasons, or expansions. Following launch, Parry Mechanics released a series of bug-fix patches (1.0.1 through 1.0.6) in the weeks immediately after release, addressing typical post-launch polish issues. The developer then continued improving the game through late 2025, adding Steam Deck verification and accessibility options (September 2025), Mac support (November 2025), and Spanish language localization (December 2025). A soundtrack DLC was also released on September 2, 2025. A final bug-fix patch (1.0.14) shipped on January 27, 2026. Importantly, the developer's most recent communication — an April 24, 2026 announcement — reveals that Parry Mechanics has moved on to a new project called TAMBOURINE, a first-person survival horror game. This is a strong signal that active development on DISCOPUP has concluded. The post-launch activity on DISCOPUP consisted entirely of bug fixes, accessibility improvements, and platform support — no new story content, gameplay expansions, or roadmap for future DISCOPUP content was ever announced. With the studio's attention now publicly directed toward a new title, DISCOPUP is best understood as a shipped, complete product.
