Dogs of War Online launched on February 4, 2014 as a free-to-play tactical game. The developer, Cyanide Studio, was actively posting updates throughout 2014, with a significant patch in June 2014 (version 0.13.00) that essentially rebooted the game with new champions, new units, and a new game mode. Feature patches continued through October 8, 2014, which is the last recorded developer communication of any kind.
After October 8, 2014, the developer went completely silent. There are no news posts, announcements, or updates of any kind beyond that date across the 50 posts scanned. That means there has been no official developer communication since October 8, 2014 — over 11 years ago as of today (June 28, 2026). No future content was announced in any of those posts, no roadmap was published, and no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing. The store description makes no reference to planned expansions, seasonal content, or a live service model.
