Dojo Masters

Dojo Masters launched on July 17, 2024 and has been in continuous active development since. The game shipped its first major paid DLC — Expansion Pack 1 — on August 25, 2025, adding three new playable martial arts (Sumo, Kyokushin Karate, and Capoeira), two new stages, a Mission Mode, and a full system rebalance as part of its Season 2 content drop. On June 26, 2026, the developer formally announced Expansion Pack 2, the Season 3 DLC, complete with a reveal trailer and a Steam wishlist page. It is targeted for release sometime in Fall 2026 and will include new martial arts, new game modes, features, and global balance changes. The September 1, 2025 content roadmap had also stated the developer was planning approximately 4 additional seasons of content beyond Season 2. Development has remained active leading up to this assessment. A feature patch on June 20, 2026 introduced Capoeira animation revamps, new gameplay systems, and netcode improvements, while also noting preparatory work for Season 3. A further patch on July 6, 2026 committed to a matchmaking system rework — including P2P support and a public lobby browser — targeting August 2026. A patch on July 28, 2026 noted that the matchmaking rework was still underway and included a note about the Single Player Menu being reorganized "in prep for Season 3 content." The most recent developer communication was a bug fix patch on September 11, 2026, which also flagged ongoing work on AMD GPU crash fixes and Steam Deck performance improvements. The announced Expansion Pack 2 DLC, scheduled for Fall 2026, is the primary signal that additional paid content is on the way. The developer is actively building toward that release.
