Dolls Nest launched on April 24, 2025 and has received a steady stream of post-launch content. Two major free updates shipped in the months following launch: Ver 1.1.0 on June 27, 2025 added collaboration gear from "DEUS MACHINA DEMONBANE" and "Full Metal Daemon MURAMASA" alongside a Practice Range mode, and Ver 1.2.0 on November 27, 2025 introduced a High Difficulty Mode with enhanced enemies and new boss behaviors. Three paid character appearance DLC packs also released on November 27, 2025, and a bug-fix patch followed on December 18, 2025. On April 24, 2026 — the game's first anniversary — the developer added Steam Community Items (trading cards, badges, emojis, and profile backgrounds). Most importantly, on September 10, 2026, NITRO PLUS announced a confirmed free major update called "Combat Trials," scheduled for release in October 2026. This system introduces battles against training units with a rank-based reward structure and world-building dialogue. The developer is also showcasing an early hands-on version of Combat Trials at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (September 17–21). With a named update explicitly confirmed for next month, more content is definitively on the way.
