The Surge 2

The Surge 2 launched on September 23, 2019 and received a well-defined, fully delivered post-launch content plan. A Season Pass was released on October 29, 2019, which outlined all planned paid content: weapon packs in November, gear sets in December, and The Kraken story expansion in January. Every item in that roadmap shipped on schedule — the Future Shock Weapon Pack (October 22, 2019), Public Enemy Weapon Pack (November 12, 2019), JCPD Gear Pack (November 26, 2019), Jericho's Legacy Gear Pack (December 10, 2019), and finally The Kraken expansion (January 14–16, 2020). On January 16, 2020, a Premium Edition was released bundling the base game and all DLC together as a complete package. The final developer communication was a bug-fix patch on February 25, 2020, which addressed issues introduced by The Kraken expansion — a natural wrap-up after the last content release. All 7 DLC entries in the store are marked as released, no unreleased content exists, and the developer has made no announcements of additional content since the Premium Edition launch. The game's content plan was fully executed and is complete.
