Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launched on March 3, 2023 and received a planned three-part DLC campaign delivered via a Season Pass. The first DLC, Battle of Zhongyuan, shipped on June 29, 2023; the second, Conqueror of Jiangdong, on September 27, 2023; and the third and final DLC, Upheaval in Jingxiang, on December 12, 2023. The director explicitly described Upheaval in Jingxiang as "the third and final DLC" in both the release announcement and a Director's Letter published on December 14, 2023, confirming that the planned DLC content cycle was complete.
On February 7, 2024, KOEI TECMO released the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition, bundling the base game with all three DLC packs and collaboration content — a clear signal that the game's content package was considered finished and ready to be sold as a complete product.
All four DLC listings (including the Season Pass) show as released, with no unreleased entries remaining. The developer has continued to issue occasional balance and compatibility patches — most recently on June 8, 2026, which adjusted boss difficulty and added ROG Xbox Ally support — but these are maintenance updates, not new content. No new story content, expansions, or additional DLC have been announced since the Complete Edition launched.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.
Wo Long refers to a crouching dragon, and also refers to a hero or person of greatness who is not yet known. This is the story of officers, who will later become heroes, during their ‘unknown’ period, and also the story of a protagonist’s rise from being a ‘nobody’.
