GOD EATER 3 launched on February 7, 2019 and received a substantial run of free post-launch updates adding new story episodes, Aragami, missions, and systems. The final update, version 2.50, shipped on March 26, 2020. In that update, producer Yuya Tomiyama posted a direct statement: "This update version 2.50 is the final update planned for GOD EATER 3." This is an unambiguous developer declaration that content development is complete. No further updates, announcements, or DLC have been released since that date, and there are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store. The game is a complete, finished product as of March 26, 2020.
