Evaluation
GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst launched on August 29, 2016 as a complete port of the original PlayStation Vita/PSP title, bundled with GOD EATER Resurrection at no extra cost. A small technical bug-fix patch was issued on September 19, 2016 to address compatibility and stability issues shortly after launch. The last developer communication of any substance was a promotional post on February 1, 2019, which simply announced a discount on the sequel GOD EATER 3 for existing owners — it contained no indication of new content planned for this game. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no developer roadmap, and no announcements of future updates. The game shipped as a complete, finished product, and all developer activity since has been maintenance or cross-promotional. The most recent developer post is from February 1, 2019, with no communications since.
