FINAL FANTASY XV Windows Edition launched on March 6, 2018, as a comprehensive package that already included all Season Pass content (Episodes Gladiolus, Prompto, Ignis, and the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades). Following launch, Square Enix delivered several post-launch feature updates and one additional paid DLC — Episode Ardyn — which released on March 26, 2019. That marked the last substantive content addition to the game itself.
The developer's news activity on this title effectively ceased after December 2018 (aside from Episode Ardyn's March 2019 release). The most recent news posts on this Steam page are promotions for other Square Enix titles — Final Fantasy XVI (September 2024) and Final Fantasy VII Revelation (June 2026) — not updates to FFXV itself. These are cross-promotional announcements, not indicators of continued FFXV development.
