Don't Starve

Don't Starve launched on April 23, 2013 and has received three major paid DLC expansions: Reign of Giants (April 30, 2014), Shipwrecked (December 1, 2015), and Hamlet (which entered Early Access in November 2018 and fully released on May 14, 2019). All four DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released, with no unreleased content pending. When Hamlet exited Early Access on May 14, 2019, Klei stated clearly: "Now that early access has finished, there are no plans for new features to Hamlet yet, but we will still be putting out updates of bug fixes as they are made." This signaled that major content development for the game had concluded, with only ongoing maintenance expected. True to that statement, subsequent posts were exclusively bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The most recent developer communication was the substantial Quality of Life and Bug Fix update on April 27, 2023, which added minor items and tweaks across all game versions but introduced no new major content or announcement of future expansions. Since that update, there have been no further developer posts in the scanned history. The three major content releases (Reign of Giants, Shipwrecked, Home Sea Home for Shipwrecked in November 2017, and Hamlet) span from 2014 to 2019, after which the developer explicitly stated content development was complete. The April 2023 update represents the last known developer activity — a polish pass rather than a content expansion. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content listed, and no announced future content, the game is complete.
