DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part One is a standalone campaign expansion for DOOM Eternal, released on October 20, 2020. It is explicitly described as "the first campaign expansion," and a second expansion — The Ancient Gods – Part Two — was subsequently released in March 2021, completing the two-part story arc. Part One itself launched as a complete, self-contained content package with no post-launch DLC, updates, or additional content ever announced or released for it specifically. The store description makes no mention of ongoing content or future plans. This expansion shipped as a finished product on its release date and has not received any additional content since.
Evidence
Store description presents The Ancient Gods – Part One as a complete campaign expansion with defined new missions, locations, and enemies. No mention of post-launch content, updates, or additional plans.
Short description identifies this as 'the first campaign expansion' for DOOM Eternal, implying it is a discrete, bounded content release.
