Evaluation
Dordogne is a self-contained narrative adventure game that launched on June 13, 2023. Following launch, the developer released two patches in July and August 2023 addressing bugs and adding a quality-of-life chapter selection feature. In June 2024, the studio announced a physical Collector Edition — a boxed release including an artbook, vinyl soundtrack, and memorabilia — marketed as a premium physical product rather than new digital game content. There have been no DLC releases, no expansion announcements, no season passes, and no roadmaps suggesting future content additions. The store description presents the game as a complete narrative experience. The game appears to have shipped as a finished, self-contained story, with post-launch activity limited to polish patches and a physical merchandise release.
