Koira launched on April 1, 2025 as a complete, self-contained adventure game. The store description presents it as a finished narrative experience — a wholesome story about a forest spirit and her puppy navigating an enchanted forest. The only DLC on the store is an artbook/wallpaper pack (Koira - Artworks) that released on launch day alongside the base game, functioning as a supporter bundle rather than a gameplay expansion.
