Travellin Cats Around the World

Travellin Cats Around the World (formerly Cats Hidden Around the World) launched on June 10, 2024 with 15 levels and 1,500 hidden cats. Since launch, the developer has continued updating the game — the store description now lists 20 levels and 2,000 cats, reflecting content added post-launch. A notable August 2024 update reworked the Seoul, Toronto, and Rio de Janeiro levels with redrawn cats and backgrounds. In December 2024, the developer published a year-in-review post explicitly stating that 2025 would be focused on updating existing games, including porting them to an improved framework used by newer releases. This confirms ongoing attention to this title. On February 25, 2026, the developer posted a significant update explaining that a trademark dispute forced a rename of all their games. The game was renamed from "Cats Hidden Around the World" to "Travellin Cats Around the World" to comply with Valve's deadline. The developer clarified that everything else about the game stays the same, and the post also teased a new unrelated app releasing imminently — indicating the developer remains active and engaged across their catalog. The developer is a solo creator who has maintained a consistent pattern of updating this and their other games since launch. The most recent communication for this specific game was February 25, 2026, and the developer has shown no signs of wrapping up support for it.
