Dungreed

Dungreed launched on February 14, 2018 and received substantial post-launch support from Team Horay for roughly 5.5 years. During that time the team shipped multiple major feature patches — adding new bosses, monsters, items, hard mode overhauls, local co-op, a new episode, custom costumes, Steam Workshop integration work, and more — as well as a mobile port announced on January 20, 2023. The clearest signal about the game's future came in a developer post on December 19, 2023 (NEWS-2), where Team Horay explicitly stated: "We released Dungreed in February 2018 and have been updating it continuously for about 5.5 years." That same post introduced Sephiria as their new project, signalling a shift in studio focus away from Dungreed. This was reinforced by a March 19, 2025 post (NEWS-1) announcing Sephiria's April 3, 2025 Early Access launch, describing it as "our team's second game" — with no mention of any further Dungreed content. The last Dungreed update was the December 19, 2023 bug-fix patch. No new content has been announced for Dungreed since then, and the studio's resources have clearly moved to Sephiria. The single released DLC is a soundtrack that shipped days after launch. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statement promising further Dungreed updates. Dungreed is a complete game. Players can enjoy the full experience as it stands, with all content delivered through its 5.5-year update cycle.
