Dwarrows launched on February 28, 2020 and received a solid run of post-launch updates. The first year saw a significant pet system overhaul in September 2020 and several feature and bug-fix patches. On February 27, 2021, the developer marked the game's one-year anniversary with a heartfelt post acknowledging that updates had been fewer than planned due to the pandemic, but stated "there is still more to come." The final recorded update arrived on May 13, 2021 — a bug-fix patch (v1.5.1). No developer communications of any kind have been published since that date. The only paid DLC is the original soundtrack, which shipped on launch day. No unreleased DLC appears in the store listing, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and the store description contains no promises of additional content. The developer's February 2021 statement of "more to come" was made before the May 2021 patch — that patch appears to represent the last work delivered on that intention. With no developer communication since May 13, 2021 — over five years of silence as of June 2026 — and no sustained post-launch major content cadence (only one major content update shipped post-launch, in September 2020), the game's content development has concluded. The game can be considered complete as of the last patch in May 2021.
