Easy Red is a self-contained World War II tactical shooter set during the D-Day Normandy landings. It was released on December 1, 2017 as a finished, feature-complete product covering the five Normandy beach sectors with an open world map, multiple unit types, vehicles, and a mission editor.
All developer communications from 2019 onward are focused entirely on Easy Red 2 — a separate, sequel game (Steam App ID 1324780). Starting in January 2019, the developer announced that a sequel was in development, and by November 2020 it had launched into Early Access. There are no news posts announcing new content, patches, or updates for the original Easy Red after that period — development attention had fully shifted to the sequel.

In Easy Red you will fight on the most significant battles of the D-Day, from the sea landings to the capture of Caen.
