Echoes of Aetheria launched on January 15, 2016 as a complete, story-driven RPG. In the weeks following launch, Dancing Dragon Games shipped several patches addressing bugs, balance, and quality-of-life improvements (January 17, January 19, January 23, and March 7, 2016). The most substantial post-launch update, Patch 1.4, arrived on June 24, 2016, bringing a large batch of balance changes, new character specializations, and UI improvements — with the developer noting they wanted to "keep improving" the game.
However, that June 2016 patch was the last developer communication specifically about Echoes of Aetheria. A post from April 12, 2017 confirmed that Dancing Dragon Games had moved on to developing a new, unrelated game described as "HUGE." A May 2019 post was entirely unrelated to this game. No additional content, DLC, or updates have been announced or shipped since June 2016.
The two DLC items listed — the Soundtrack and Strategy Guide — both released on launch day and are purely supplementary. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, no roadmap, and no developer statements suggesting further content for Echoes of Aetheria. The 2017 post explicitly signals the studio's attention had moved to a new project. The game launched as a complete narrative RPG and received its final meaningful update in June 2016.

Echoes of Aetheria has a humble, perhaps even classic, beginning. A wedding interrupted, a bride kidnapped; our heroes give chase. Though their motives are different, they soon find themselves thrown together as their simple quest to recover the bride spirals into an epic saga of war, love, and betrayal.
Treason, defection, rebellion, and even the creation of a new nation are all parts in which you’ll have a role to play. As you progress further, the scope of the story will grow with your heroes. By the end, you’ll have to weigh your decisions and their consequences against the fate of entire nations.
