Evaluation
eFootball PES 2021 Season Update is no longer available for purchase on Steam — it has been removed from the storefront and cannot be acquired. The game released on September 15, 2020 as a roster and data update to the previous year's edition, positioned as a 25th anniversary release at a special price. Konami issued three data packs between November 2020 and February 2021, adding updated player faces, kits, stadiums, and myClub content. The last recorded developer communication was the Data Pack 4.00 patch notes on February 5, 2021. No further updates or announcements have been made since that date. This is consistent with Konami's broader move to replace the PES annual series with eFootball, a free-to-play live service game that launched in 2021.
Evidence
The game has no purchase options available — it has been removed from the Steam storefront and can no longer be bought.
Data Pack 4.00 / Patch 1.04.00 released on February 4, 2021 — the last recorded developer communication for this game, adding cosmetic updates and a bug fix.
