Evaluation
ELEX II launched on March 1, 2022 as a complete, standalone RPG. Following launch, Piranha Bytes issued a series of bug-fix patches — on March 8, March 22, and April 28, 2022 — addressing quest issues, combat bugs, graphical problems, and other polish items. The last of these patches (Patch 4, April 28, 2022) represents the final official communication specific to ELEX II.
The only DLC ever released is the game's soundtrack, which shipped on launch day (March 1, 2022). No additional story content, expansions, or season passes were ever announced or listed.
The most recent news post on this store page (June 5, 2026) is an announcement for Gothic 1 Remake — a separate game developed by Alkimia Interactive and published by the same publisher, THQ Nordic. This post is unrelated to ELEX II's development and carries no implication about further ELEX II content.
There has been no post-launch content roadmap, no announced expansions, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statement suggesting additional content was ever planned beyond the base game. ELEX II launched as a finished, self-contained product, received post-launch bug fixes through April 2022, and has been content-complete since then.
