Emergency Cleanup Co. is in Early Access and receiving consistent, substantial updates from developer Smallroom. Since launching on November 12, 2024, the game has shipped major content updates in December 2024, October 2025, February 2026, and May 2026, alongside numerous feature patches adding new levels, tools, systems, and quality-of-life improvements throughout the entire period. On August 20, 2025, the developer published a formal Early Access development roadmap outlining multiple upcoming phases — including new tools, mission types, maps, story content, co-op multiplayer, and system improvements — confirming that a significant amount of content is still planned. Most recently, on August 10, 2026, the developer posted a preview of the next update, planned for early September 2026. It will include two brand-new cleaning maps, a robot vacuum and mop tool, custom keybindings, a new bonus system, new achievements, and further performance optimizations. This is a concrete, near-term content commitment from the developer. The game is clearly in active development with more content on the immediate horizon.
