Enigmoon

Enigmoon has been in Early Access since September 28, 2015, and has never reached a full 1.0 release. The game's development history has been turbulent: the original solo developer handed it off to a small studio in 2018, that studio went bankrupt before finishing the work, and the developer then quit their day job to complete it themselves (as reported on October 7, 2019). Throughout this period, the game received sporadic patches and feature updates, but missed numerous self-imposed release windows. The most recent developer communication was on November 9, 2021, when the developer acknowledged pandemic-related slowdowns and committed to launching the game in 2022. That deadline passed without a release or any follow-up post. As of June 27, 2026, there has been no communication from the developer in over four and a half years. The promised 2022 launch has not happened, and there is no indication of whether development is still actively ongoing.
