Evaluation
Epic Battle Fantasy Collection launched on May 30, 2022 as a curated package of 8 older games, each updated with quality-of-life improvements. The store description frames the product as a complete collection of "ancient games from the early days of the internet," and the only DLC — the soundtrack — shipped on the same day as the game itself.
Following launch, the developer (Matt Roszak) shipped several updates through June 2022, adding content like new Bullet Heaven difficulty options, EBF2 upgrades and achievements, prototype games, and trading cards. The last of these substantive updates was Version 1.9 on June 21, 2022. A May 31, 2024 news post announced a fan-made Simplified Chinese translation being included as an opt-in beta — but this was a community localization effort that Matt explicitly states he was not involved in, and he used the post primarily to discuss language support in his future games. It carries no signal of new content being planned for the Collection itself.
There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no developer statements about ongoing additions. The post-launch update activity was concentrated in the weeks immediately following release and has since stopped. The game appears to have shipped as an intentionally complete retro package, with the early patches rounding out the experience.
Evidence
Store description presents the collection as a finished package of 8 classic games with quality-of-life updates, framing it as a complete retro anthology rather than a live product.
The only DLC — the full 65-track soundtrack — was released on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists.

The entire soundtrack is included as free DLC - 65 tracks in total!

Also included in the EBF Collection are several art galleries, game prototypes, and development lore about the history of the Epic Battle Fantasy series. There's even some Easter eggs and secret images hidden inside the installation folder.
