Evaluation
Escape Goat 2 launched on March 24, 2014 as a complete puzzle platformer with over 100 rooms. Following launch, the developer shipped a series of post-launch updates: a beta branch in April 2014 introducing a level editor, Steam Workshop support, and gameplay mutators; a stable release of those features in May 2014 (v1.1); a Workshop compatibility fix in November 2014 (v1.1.2); and a final update on January 9, 2015 (v1.1.4) adding further polish, bug fixes, and a new mutator. The store description makes no mention of planned DLC, expansions, or future content — it describes a self-contained experience. There are no unreleased DLC listings. Developer communication has been silent since January 9, 2015, with no roadmaps, announcements, or new content releases in the years since. The game launched as a finished product and was subsequently polished to completion through the v1.1.4 update.
Evidence
Version 1.1.4 released as the final stable update, addressing teleport glitches, Workshop compatibility, speedrun overlay improvements, and adding one new mutator. This is the last developer communication on record.
Version 1.1 shipped with Steam Workshop support and a level editor, described as the first major post-launch update.

About this game
"The game’s flow from challenge to discovery is a masterwork for the genre ..." - Ars Technica
Escape Goat 2 is a puzzle platformer game where you use machinery, the environment, and a friendly mouse to progress through a dungeon.
Overview: None have overcome the Stronghold of Toragos... will you be the first goat to do so? Escape Goat 2 is the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed 2011 indie game, featuring more than double the content: larger rooms, HD graphics, dynamic lighting, and a host of devilish new traps.
Pick your path through the massive Stronghold, divided into ten unique zones. Worry not, brave Goat, for you have a friend on this mission: Your immortal mouse familiar can crawl to otherwise unreachable areas, to hit switches and distract enemies. Use your wits, reason, reflexes and courage to overcome each room, and save your friends from an eternal slumber...
