Eternity Warriors VR

Eternity Warriors VR launched into Early Access on September 17, 2017 and has never left that state. The game received a handful of feature patches in late 2017 and early 2018, but development ran into financial trouble and the studio shifted focus to contract work and then a new project, UNDYING. On May 5, 2019, the developer posted an honest update acknowledging they had gone silent, that the game was no longer financially sustainable on its own, and that they genuinely did not know whether they would return to it. On September 9, 2019, they followed up with more positive news — active development had restarted, and they promised a follow-up post outlining a revised (smaller) feature plan. A bug fix post appeared in December 2019. However, on June 23, 2021, the developer posted again to explain that the COVID-19 pandemic, publisher commitments, and contract obligations had once again forced them to move all resources away from Eternity Warriors VR and entirely into UNDYING. That post is the last official communication from the developer — now over five years ago as of June 2026. The game remains purchasable and in Early Access with no 1.0 release, no announced roadmap, and no developer communication since June 23, 2021. The promised follow-up roadmap from September 2019 was never delivered. There is no indication of whether development will resume.
