ETHER VAPOR Remaster launched on September 27, 2012 as a complete arcade shooter. Its only DLC, the Original Soundtrack, was released on November 26, 2014. No further content has ever been announced or released beyond that point.
The original publisher, Nyu Media, announced on June 15, 2022 that it was closing down. Their closure notice explicitly confirmed that ETHER VAPOR Remaster would remain available on Steam, with publishing responsibilities transferring to PLAYISM. This transition was purely administrative — there were no content announcements attached to it, and no new content has been released under PLAYISM's stewardship.
The game remains purchasable today. It launched as a self-contained product, received one soundtrack DLC, and has received no post-launch content updates. The developer (Edelweiss) has made no statements about future content for this title.
