Evaluation
Farewell North launched on August 16, 2024 after roughly four years of solo development by Kyle Banks. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained narrative experience — an atmospheric adventure about a border collie and her human exploring the Scottish isles. The only DLC is the game's soundtrack (released August 20, 2024), which is a companion product rather than additional game content.
Following launch, the developer issued several bug-fix patches and earned Steam Deck Verified status in September 2024. The most recent developer communication was a security patch on October 3, 2025, addressing a Unity engine vulnerability — routine maintenance work rather than new content development. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, and no roadmap suggesting expansions or updates beyond what has already shipped.
The developer's own launch post framed the release as the culmination of four years of work and explicitly described it as the end of that journey. No post-launch content has been announced or hinted at since release. The game launched as a finished product and remains so.
Evidence
The only DLC is the official soundtrack, released four days after launch. No game content DLC exists, announced or otherwise.
