Farming Simulator 22 launched on November 21, 2021 and received an extensive post-launch content program across two structured season passes. Year 1 Season Pass delivered multiple machine packs and the Platinum Expansion (the major forestry-focused expansion with a new map, Silverrun Forest), completing in November 2022. Year 2 Season Pass followed with additional machine packs through 2023 and culminated in the Premium Expansion on November 14, 2023 — a substantial expansion adding a new map (Zielonka), new crops, factories, and over 35 new machines. The Premium Edition, a comprehensive bundle of the base game plus all Year 1 and Year 2 content, was released simultaneously.
After the Year 2 Season Pass concluded, GIANTS Software released one final standalone DLC — the Farm Production Pack — on April 30, 2024, adding over 20 new machines, buildings, and a distribution center system. This appears to be the last piece of content released for Farming Simulator 22.
From mid-2024 onward, all developer communications shifted entirely to promoting the next installment: Farming Simulator 25 was announced on June 27, 2024, previewed extensively through August 2024, and launched on November 12, 2024. No further content for Farming Simulator 22 has been announced or released since the Farm Production Pack. All 23 DLC items on the store are marked as released, both season passes have been fulfilled, and the developer's attention has moved fully to the successor title. The game's content cycle is complete.
