Farming Simulator 17 launched on October 24, 2016 and received four paid DLC packs during its lifecycle: the KUHN Equipment Pack (February 14, 2017), the Big Bud Pack (May 9, 2017), the Platinum Expansion (November 13, 2017), and the Ropa Pack (March 13, 2018). The March 2018 Ropa Pack release was accompanied by an "Official Expansion 2" retail bundle that explicitly collected all DLC released for the game — a clear signal that the content cycle was being wrapped up. GIANTS Software then shifted focus entirely to the next entry in the series: Farming Simulator 19 was announced in February 2018, previewed at E3 in June 2018, and launched on November 22, 2018. Farming Simulator 22 was subsequently announced in June 2021. All four DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released, and no unreleased DLC or future content for Farming Simulator 17 has been communicated by the developer at any point. The game has been a complete, finished product since the Ropa Pack shipped on March 13, 2018.
