FIFA 22 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the store page has no purchase options. The game launched on October 1, 2021 as an annual sports title. By July 20, 2022, EA had already moved on to promoting FIFA 23 as its successor, with pre-purchase incentives and a full feature announcement. As is typical for the annual FIFA series, each new installment effectively replaces the previous one, and FIFA 22 has since been removed from sale.
