Firewood is a short 2D adventure game that Frymore describe as their "first project," which "took us five months to complete." The game launched on July 31, 2017, received a small bug fix patch on August 2, 2017, and its only DLC — a soundtrack — was released on August 9, 2017. The developer's own description explicitly frames this as a finished, self-contained product built from scratch.
There is no announced or unreleased content for Firewood. The developer's subsequent activity has been focused entirely on other projects: they announced a new thriller/adventure game in October 2019, and their third title "Kargast" launched in May 2023. None of these communications reference any further plans for Firewood. The game launched complete and has remained unchanged since August 2017.

About this game
Firewood is a 2D adventure game with psychological horror elements.
The game tells the story of an old man who has lost his wife years ago and is still having troubles with his past.
After his wife's funeral, he decides to move to a cabin far away from town in order to escape from the haunting memories of the past and his country's opressive regime.
Yet one day, events take an unexpected turn and he finds himself in a dark journey.
Will he be able to find the redemption he seeks?
