Flippin Misfits launched on September 27, 2022. Following launch, the developer shipped a series of patches addressing bugs, balance issues, and quality-of-life improvements through late 2022. The one substantive post-launch content update arrived on December 22, 2022, adding two new maps (Lookout and Nova Beach Club) and Steam Trading Cards. That post represents the last developer communication of any kind. There have been no news posts, patch notes, announcements, or any other official communications from the developer since December 22, 2022 — a silence stretching to June 2026. No future content has been announced, no roadmap has been published, and no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing. The developer has not stated the game is finished, but the prolonged silence and complete absence of any planned content strongly indicate development has concluded. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product with a modest post-launch content cycle that wrapped in late 2022.
