Flying Sword

Flying Sword is a small, self-contained indie game developed by a solo developer. It launched out of Early Access on February 12, 2020. The developer's own description frames it as a compact score-chasing experience — each session lasts 10 minutes, the map is procedurally generated, and the stated goal is simply to beat your own high score. There is no story content, no expansions, and no DLC of any kind listed on the store. The developer posted four updates in total, all between September 2019 and April 17, 2020. The most recent post (April 17, 2020) added Steam Workshop support along with a "Magic Book" mod. No developer communication of any kind has appeared since that date. The update history and the game's design — a deliberately small, replayable casual game — are consistent with a product that launched as a finished package and has received no further development. The game was designed and described from the outset as a complete, loop-based experience with no planned expansions or additional content.
