SkateBIRD launched on September 16, 2021 and received a series of post-launch content updates. Two major levels were added after launch: a new outdoor playground level in update 1.7 (June 11, 2022), and the Skate Heaven level on June 1, 2023. The June 1, 2023 post is an explicit developer statement declaring the game complete: "The game is DONE… we got it all in!" The developer noted that any remaining bugs would be fixed but otherwise signed off with "see y'all next game!" — a clear indication that no further content is planned and the team has moved on. The only DLC is the original soundtrack, which shipped on launch day. There are no unreleased DLC listings and no outstanding commitments. The game launched as a complete experience and delivered on its Kickstarter stretch goals over the post-launch period, concluding with the Skate Heaven update.
