Evaluation

Francisca is a small indie game released on July 26, 2016 by a solo developer named Kiddy. The game received one notable update on August 6, 2016 — adding trading cards, bug fixes, and optimization — and that appears to be the last substantive work done on the game itself. By October 2016 and March 2017, the developer had moved on to announcing and promoting entirely new projects (including "What The Heck, Dude?", "Red Forest", and "Dude Simulator"). There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements promising further content for Francisca. The game launched as a small, self-contained experience and has received no developer communication since August 2016. It is best understood as a finished product.
Evidence
Developer announced yet another new game, 'Dude Simulator', with no mention of further Francisca updates. Last developer communication of any kind.

About this game

Hi, my name is Mike and I am 14. I go to school but now I am on holidays.
The company where my parents work has moved to another city, so we had to move as well.
Right from the moment we moved in the new house, I started to hear some strange sounds, and after a few days I began feeling that there was someone else in the house, and when looking out of the window, it seemed that I could see somebody’s figure out there. It was a girl.
And yesterday she left a present at our door. When I picked it up, she started following me. The next day, our neighbors told me that had been a girl who liked to come to that house and play hide-and-seek with those who lived there.
Today my parents went to Mexico for a week, and I’m gonna have to spend seven days alone in our new house.
