Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters launched on Steam on February 19, 2024 as a modernized re-release of the classic Star Control II-era space RPG. The most recent news post, dated September 22, 2026, announces a free combat demo for the sequel game — not new content for this title. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no developer statements promising future content for this game. The studio's attention is clearly directed toward the sequel, which successfully Kickstarted in April 2024 and is progressing toward its own release.
