Frogmonster launched on April 2, 2024 as a complete 1.0 release. Since then, solo developer Ben Jungwirth has delivered a sustained stream of post-launch content. The Boss Rush Soup mode arrived in June 2024, with additional challenges and brand-new bosses rolling out through July 31, 2024 — bringing the total boss count to 32. A full Item Randomizer with multiworld co-op support shipped in March 2025, followed by a sweeping music overhaul featuring over 50 tracks in April 2025 (the game's one-year anniversary). Randomizer improvements and networking upgrades followed in August 2025. The most recent communication was a bug-fix patch on February 18, 2026. Across roughly two years post-launch, the game has received seven major content updates. The intervals between them have generally run 1–6 months. As of October 1, 2026 — approximately 7.5 months since the last developer communication — we are approaching the outer edge of the established update window, but have not clearly exceeded it. The developer has not announced that development is complete, nor announced any specific future content. The pattern of sustained additions makes it reasonable to expect further updates, though none have been confirmed.

Help protect Melora from Runi and his many creations in this unique and charming Soulslike Metroidvania FPS Adventure, where you'll never know what could be around the next corner.

Explore an atmospheric and colorful world with a cast of characters, who mostly have good intentions.

Fight over 30 unique bosses that will test your limits and reward you heartily. All with their own mechanics and personalities to enjoy.

Keep an eye out for bugs. Catch them with your tongue and equip them to gain a variety of bonuses... you are a Frog after all.

Find weapons and choose upgrade paths to suit them to a variety of playstyles, and use spells to heal and zap, burn, explode... any enemy in your path.

Enjoy a weird and winding world, finding upgrades and abilities, to push further and reset the balance after Runi messed it all up.
