Frogsong launched on June 10, 2023 and received a healthy round of post-launch updates, including quality-of-life patches and the 1.2.0 update on July 30, 2023 — which the developer explicitly described as "probably the only" major content update of its kind and stated "there likely won't be any more major updates in the future." On December 20, 2024, the developer announced their next game, Stomp and the Sword of Miracles, and followed up on December 24, 2024 with a small holiday patch for Frogsong that added Steam trading cards and mouse input support. In that same post, the developer explicitly stated they were now "fully switching gears to the future" and going "full steam ahead on the next game" — making clear that Frogsong's active development chapter is closed. The only DLC released is an art book (October 11, 2024), which is supplemental content rather than a gameplay expansion, and no additional DLC is listed or announced.
