Evaluation

Girls Made Pudding launched on April 10, 2025, and received several post-launch patches over the following year. Patch 1.1.0 (April 16, 2025) added voice drama tapes and new meals; Patch 1.2.0 (May 21, 2025) added new items and unlocked a post-story location; Patch 1.2.1 (June 17, 2025) added a character portrait option; and Patch 1.3.0 (April 2, 2026) added a post-game Gallery feature along with a limited-time anniversary banner. These are all quality-of-life additions and bug fixes rather than major content expansions. The 1st anniversary update (April 10, 2026), previewed in March 2026, was explicitly described by the developer as a "minor update." No further content has been announced beyond what has already shipped. The only DLC listed is the game's soundtrack, which has been released. Notably, in July 2025, the developer announced a brand-new title — PLATONICA SPACE — suggesting the studio's focus has moved on to the next project. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating future content is planned for this game. The game appears to have reached its final content state with the 1st anniversary patch on April 10, 2026.

About this game

"When there's nobody there to see you, you disappear."

In Girls Made Pudding, two girls tour a series of towns that people have disappeared from. Follow them on the road as they find out the mysteries of this world.

The Gameplay

Come for a Ride

In most games, you're always trying to reach a destination. In Girls Made Pudding, everything happens during the journey.

Nothing will happen if you stay where you are, and the more you travel, the more dialogue you'll get.

Keep the bike moving and the girls chatting and eventually you'll unfold this story's mysteries.

Gathering and Cooking

While you're traveling, you'll find ingredients that you can cook with.

Eating those dishes will lead to new dialogue branches for the two girls.

Try cooking whatever fits the mood of the story in that moment.

Hunger and Sleeping

As they travel, the girls slowly get hungrier. Make sure to keep them fed. However, you can turn off the hunger mechanic in the difficulty settings.

Also, after a while, night will fall, ending your journey for they day. You'll need to find an empty home to sleep until morning.

The Story

"When there's nobody there to see you, you disappear."

It's weird, but it's been like this for a while now. Almost half a year.

The journey started with Sumibi's wish—"I want to eat that pudding again."

She and Nikomi go on a bike trip, traveling from town to town while looking for ingredients and meeting new people. Little by little, they start understanding what happened to the world.

They keep traveling and they keep looking at each other... lest they disappear.

Sumibi

A bike-riding girl on a journey. She was a regular at the café where Sumibi use to work.
