Gold Express entered Steam Early Access on September 27, 2019. During its first three months on the platform, developer DAWN STUDIO was very active: they shipped new characters (Scarecrow on November 7, 2019; Punch on December 20, 2019), new maps, a mission system, a rank system, localization support, and numerous balance and bug-fix patches — sometimes releasing updates weekly. The store's short description still promotes the "Punch" character added in December 2019 as a current highlight.
However, all developer activity stopped after December 27, 2019. There have been no patch notes, announcements, blog posts, or any other official communications since that date. The game has remained in Early Access for over six years with no graduation to a 1.0 release, no announcement of closure or cancellation, and no explanation for the silence. Given the previously rapid update cadence, this prolonged silence strongly suggests development has stalled or been abandoned, though the developer has never formally stated this.

Different victory goals
The Extractors need to extract Data assets and upload them to a Data Warehouse in specific locations in order to free themselves;the Watcher needs to constantly try to predict the Extractors’ actions and use special skills wisely to achieve the ultimate goal.
