Golfie

Golfie launched into Early Access and reached its 1.0 release on January 19, 2023, with full online multiplayer. Since then, Triheart Studio has delivered a solid post-launch update history: the 1.1 update on March 13, 2023 added new cards, perks, and multiplayer modes; the 1.2 update on March 25, 2024 introduced an entirely new Cave Ruins map theme, new cards, and significant gameplay reworks; and the 2.0 update on September 12, 2024 overhauled core game mechanics with new modes and map features. A follow-up tuning patch on January 7, 2025 restored the previously preferred multiplayer experience, and a bug fix patch followed on January 9, 2025 — the most recent developer communication on record. The major updates arrived roughly 12–14 months apart (1.1 in March 2023, 1.2 in March 2024, 2.0 in September 2024), but the gap between the last major update (September 12, 2024) and today (June 23, 2026) — approximately 21 months — significantly exceeds the historical cadence. There is no announced future content for Golfie, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no developer statements indicating more updates are planned. The only DLC released is a cosmetic Supporter Pack (March 22, 2024), which is not part of a content roadmap. Notably, in October 2024 the studio announced a new game — Golfie Up! — a separate title building on the same concepts. This suggests the team's development focus has shifted to that new project rather than continuing to expand Golfie. The last Golfie post of any kind was January 9, 2025, and there has been no communication since. With no outstanding commitments, no announced future content, and the development team visibly pivoting to a new title, Golfie appears to have reached its final state with the 2.0 update and subsequent patches.
